Online Inspiration
Some days it's harder than others to get motivated to design. Inspiration can be just what you need to get your mind thinking creatively. Here are a few sites I visit to get me through those slow times.
Smashing Magazine
This is my home screen every time I log onto the web. It's full of articles on web, graphic, print, and logo design. Plus it has tons of pages of tutorials. Updated every minute, this site is a must for anyone who wants to know what's going on in the design world.

The CSS Awards
The CSS Awards is a site that is updated daily with a new site that is voted on by professionals in the web design field. The sites that get picked for 'website of the day' go through a series of judging so you know they are going to be good. And since flash seems to be slowly fading away in web designs, it's good to see what people can come up with just using css and some javascript.

Creattica
Design trends change extremely quickly. That is why I recommend creattica.com. Creattica is a website that showcases new logo, print, photoshop, motion graphics, business card, css, flash and more projects. Every piece of design that is in the gallery has gone through review so only the best is allowed to be shown. Some big advertising firms even post their projects to this site too before they release it to see what other designers say about them.

Being inspired is just part of the process of making great work. Knowing how to execute your ideas is just as important. That is why I recommend checking this site out.

If you are into web design, I'm sure you have heard of this already. I'll save you some time, just check it out. It's packed with tutorials, inspiration, and news. Plus they have free wallpaper to make your desktop look like that of a true designer.
THE FWA
Another site web designers probably already know. This website is nationally known for showcasing great cutting edge designs. Personally, I enjoy this site because a lot of the websites shown use flash, proof flash is still alive.
